SOLAR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Since 2013 the international Star 8 Group has been active in the development of electric and solar electric vehicle solutions. Star 8 solar electric jeepneys and tuk tuks have operated successfully as public transportation in Asia for a number of years.

From partnering with Coca-Cola in showcasing solar electric tuktuks in Cambodia, to market leading solar electric tuk-tuks and jeepneys (Buses) in Philippines, Star 8 has been actively promoting green transport in countries where a reduction in fossil fuel pollution can provide a significant health dividend to the local population.

This has been achieved without government subsidies or financial support.

These vehicles are equipped with flexible solar panels that leave the roof profile virtually unchanged as well as avoiding the significant weight of fixed glass panels.

The outcome is developing energy independence. The energy generated by the solar charging can be used to either extend the range of the vehicle or if additional range is not required, reduce the requirement for external charging. Either way considerable savings can be enjoyed.

We are also pleased to introduce you to our range of VAYA e-scooters and e-motorbikes.

We believe in the economics of “green energy”. Savings in fuel and operating costs can be significant, even funding vehicle acquisition costs.

We welcome to the world of Star 8 electric and solar electric vehicles.

We believe in the economics of “green energy”. Savings in fuel and operating costs are significant, generally funding vehicle acquisition costs.

Against this backdrop of experience in solar electric transport, Star 8 Australia is proud to introduce a new range of solar electric off-road utility vehicles to Australia.

These off-road vehicles are equipped with flexible solar panels that leave the roof profile virtually unchanged as well as avoid the significant weight of fixed glass panels.

The outcome is electric vehicles that can largely operate off-grid. The energy generated by the solar charging can be used to either extend the range of the vehicle or if additional range is not required, reduce the requirement for external charging. Either way considerable savings can be enjoyed.
