PROJECT SUMMARY:
Star 8 was approached by a representative of a townhouse complex in Capalaba who was looking for a suitable solar pole-top light to replace 15 of their current traditional grid lights with. The reason why the body corporate was looking for a solar solution was because their current lights were soon going to be extremely expensive to maintain and repair due to inevitable grid connection issues.
In response to this enquiry, a Star 8 team member along with a representative from Beare Electrical conducted a site inspection and quoted the body corporate for the supply and install of 15 Solar Landscape Light V2s.
Upon the site inspection it was also discovered that our solar lights could easily be retrofitted to the existing poles which were also coincidently almost the same colour. This reduced the project cost considerably as well as reducing the amount of wasted material.
SOLUTION:
The body corporate decided to proceed with this solution and the team from Beare Electrical retrofitted all 15 Solar Landscape Lights within a day.
RESULT:
Not only was this a cost-effective solution upfront, but also a solution that requires no ongoing running costs and will outperform the previous fittings in brightness and reliability.
